Debossable aluminum tags are hand engravable marking tags that let you get your text embossed on the surface with the help of a pen or pencil. Made of annealed aluminum over a heavy cardstock core, these tags are readable once debossed, even if the ink washes off.

Q. Do blank aluminum tags require special tools for the text to be debossed?

Not at all! You may write on the tag with a pen or pencil as you would write on any other surface and the soft aluminum tag will easily be engraved with the text.

Q. Are dead-soft metal tags rewritable?

Since the surface of dead-soft metal tags is indentable, the text you write gets debossed on the tag and can be read even if the ink fades. Therefore, you may not be able to re-write new text on these tags.

Q. What are the attachment/installation options for aluminum tags?

We offer debossable aluminum tags with and without wires, and you may choose the option that suits you on the product page. The custom aluminum marking tags are also available both with and without wire attachments, and the option appears on the tag personalization page. Our screen-printed aluminum foil labels come with a strong adhesive backing and stick to oily/bumpy surfaces as well.

Alternatively, you may order tag strings, wires, and ties separately from our Tag Accessories page. Choose from regular and stainless steel wires, regular, waxed and elastic strings, and nylon locking ties.

Q. Is it possible to get the company logo printed on debossable aluminum tags?

Yes, it certainly is! We offer custom debossable aluminum tag templates in three sizes. You may select the template that works for you and personalize it with the help of our user-friendly customization wizard.

The wizard allows you to upload your artwork, logo, or type out your design. You may also choose if you want single-side or double-side printing, sequential numbers, and wire attachments with your tags.

Q. Will I get to see the proof of my custom debossable aluminum tag design?

Of course! After you upload or email us the design, our artwork team will create the perfect tag based on your instructions. Once done, we will send you the proof for approval, absolutely free of charge!

Q. How long do dead-soft metal tags take to be delivered?

Once the order goes into production, all stock dead-boss metal tags take about 1 to 3 business days and custom items take 3 to 5 business days to be shipped. All orders are delivered within 7 to 10 business days. You will also see an expected shipping date during the checkout process.
